I am committed to providing my clients with a professional counselling service within which they will feel safe, respected, and fully accepted. Based in Berkhamsted & Kings Langley, I am near to Tring, Hemel Hempstead & Chesham.

I have experience of working as a counsellor with adults of all ages. Each phase of life has it's own challenges and I am interested in working with you whatever phase you are in.

The broad aims of how I work are to help you :

  • heal past wounds
  • develop as a person
  • live your life more fully.

The more specific aims of our working will be decided by you. I am trained in the Person Centred Approach, a gentle, non-directive way of working, which aims to harness your inner wisdom to help you heal, grow, and find a more deeply satisfying way of being.

I have experience of working with clients who are struggling with :
  • depression / suicidal thoughts & feelings
  • anxiety / panic attacks
  • abuse (sexual & other forms)
  • trauma
  • bereavement
  • relationship difficulties
  • low self esteem
  • parenting issues
  • menopause.

I am a member of the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP), and I adhere to their Code of Ethics.

I also have a special interest in mindfulness, and the psychological benefits it can bring. Please feel free to ask me about this if you are interested in finding out more.

I offer counselling in Kings Langley and Berkhamsted, and am near to Tring, Hemel Hempstead and Chesham.
